The Peace River Energy Project
The Peace River Energy Project (PREP) represents a significant advancement in renewable energy initiatives, being Western Canada’s first cooperatively owned and operated utility-scale solar farm. Located just west of the Town of Peace River, Alberta, the project aims to harness solar energy to contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable energy grid.
The solar farm is designed to have a capacity of 4.99 megawatts (MW), utilizing approximately 12,000 solar photovoltaic modules. It is expected to generate around 10 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of electricity annually, which can power approximately 1,200 homes while avoiding about 5,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.
PREP is committed to local job creation and economic diversification within the green energy sector. The project emphasizes local hiring and training, fostering community participation and pride through local ownership of renewable energy infrastructure. The project will incorporate sustainable agricultural practices known as “agrivoltaics,”
As President of the Peace River Energy Project, my responsibilities include overseeing strategic direction and ensuring that our objectives align with community values and environmental sustainability goals. I actively participate in decision-making processes related to project development, stakeholder engagement, and financial management. My role also involves advocating for the project within the community and fostering partnerships that enhance our mission of promoting renewable energy solutions.
Inbasket Rx Project
Inbasket Rx aims to optimize healthcare communication by optimizing the management of electronic in-basket messages, enhancing the workflow of healthcare providers. Trained nurses will play a pivotal role in improving patient care and administrative efficiency by managing clinical support tasks, facilitating patient communication, and handling various administrative duties.
By streamlining the management of in-basket tasks, nurses can reduce the administrative burden on physicians, allowing clinicians to focus more on direct patient care and enhancing the quality of service provided. Improved communication channels will lead to quicker resolutions for patients, fostering a positive experience and encouraging better health outcomes. The virtual nature of this role offers nurses flexibility and a healthier work-life balance while still contributing meaningfully to patient care.

The Senior Care Homes Project
The development of senior care homes in Peace River, Alberta, is an exciting project focused on creating a nurturing and engaging environment for seniors. Drawing inspiration from successful models, this initiative aims to raise the standard of care and lifestyle for our future residents.
Our senior care community will consist of assisted living accommodations in converted freestanding houses. This small accommodation ensures that we can meet the unique needs of each resident, allowing them to age comfortably and with dignity. Will will emphasize a multidisciplinary model of care that prioritizes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our residents.
As we move forward with this development in Peace River, we are dedicated to keeping the community informed about our progress. This project represents an opportunity to redefine senior living by providing a place where every resident feels valued, respected, and empowered to live their best life.
